Good-bye to Envisage Year Two! How sad. I am so grateful to have been a
part of the project. I learned more in the past year thru pictures (taking
and seeing all of yours) than I did in any year of schooling. I learned the
strength of women. We really are awesome, wonderous beings. Thank you,
each and every one of you, for sharing a small piece of yourself and your
day-to-day life with me. It has been an honor.

I miss so much that camera. This is my nikon 35 mm that I bought 8 years
ago. The quality of the picture were so good. But pretty difficult to
participate to this project with 35 mm!!!

I love this project.

Ladies, it's been incredible getting to know you all. Through your eyes and
words and willingness to share yourselves, I believe I have grown as a
person. I have learned from your perspectives and experiences. I can't
thank you enough for the support and encouragement you have shown me and I
know I'm going to miss posting. But I'll be watching Year Three and
staying connected with the group.

Ok, I get that my garage is still a mess, but yes this is actually the
"after" picture. Trust me, this is an improvement.

Over the past few weeks I have been clearing boxes upon boxes of my
childhood memorabilia and other miscellaneous crap out of the garage at my
mom's house. Then, for a few weeks, our garage was FULL to the brim
with that stuff. Now, at least, we can get a car in there. We still have a
ways to go, but we've made progress. I have donated and tossed tons
of stuff.

My Karate Kid. Every Sunday he has karate class. It's a class for kids
with special needs. He's been doing this now for 7 years.

Today he was testing for his brown belt.

His Sensei asked him which day he wanted to do his test and he chose my
birthday. I thought that was so sweet.

He got it! Best birthday present a mom could ask for.

My mom, Sam, and me on my 35th birthday.

You know, there was a time the doctors said my mom wouldn't make it to see
my 29th birthday. She is in remission from a very aggressive cancer. Every
year she's here on my birthday is the best possible gift I could ever
receive.

I thought it only fitting to end this year just as I started it....knowing
that everything WILL be ok. Because really, in the end, everything is ok.
We've been through babies, food, clothes, therapy, growing up, school,
sickness, total freaked-outness, laughter, tears, triumph, failure, new
dogs, old dogs, kittens with mittens, gardens, sunshine, moon glow, did i
mention food?....we've been through so much together and it really does
break my heart for this year to end. But we did survive and for this
moment, everything is ok!

4 months ago, I couldn't wait for the end....and now that it's here...i want
it to go away! But it won't...we'll move on, find new pictures, find new
friends, settle in with returning friends and feel the bittersweet absence
of old friends. Not only did I have fun, but I have made some of the best
life long friends from this blog. And a special thank you to Sarah for
bringing this project together, for without it, I would have never met you
guys! I shrudder to think it.

Most of all, I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for your
comments, your love, your support and especially for trusting me with just a
brief moment of your lives.

Yep, everything will be ok. (((HUG)))

Wow, day 365.

My day one photo was of my weight that day (166lbs) and I said that I didn't
want to be that weight on day 365.

Well, I'm not! I'm 162.8. Not as low as I wanted but not 166!

My goal for day 365 of year 3 - to have that scale read even lower!

Deciding the last picture was painfully difficult. But, whoo. Here we go.
Another year done. An amazing year - in just looking back through my own
photos over the past year, I can't believe what a year it's been and it's
been awesome to share it with y'all. I haven't signed up for year 3 -- while
I anticipate that I will keep up my picture a day habit (because it IS habit
now), I will probably keep posting on my own to my Flickr and other assorted
webby places. But I'll be watching y'all.

The last photo of this year's 365 project and I couldn't have picked a
better or more fitting day.

My 5 year old daughter started kindergarten today and I've been reminiscing
about how quickly the time has passed and how it seems so hard to believe
that she's ready to go to kindergarten. In much the same way, I cannot
believe how quickly this year has passed with this project.

It seems only fitting that this project end with a photo showing such an
exciting new beginning.

Oh, look! One lightening bug is giving another one a piggyback ride. Well,
maybe not, but I'm going with that symbolism anyway. I love the way this
group of ladies has supported each other over the past year, letting each

After getting Jacelyn all squared away I took Miss Alice to the theatre to see Cats and Dogs, The Revenge of Kitty Galore. I was secretly pleased that I got glasses to wear as I was able to doze off with out being suspected. Utter exhaustion you have stayed too long.

Photo from a field hockey scrimmage this weekend. My older daughter is a
junior in high school and plays on the varsity field hockey team. My
youngest daughter will be starting kindergarten on Tuesday. As if that age
difference isn't enough, I also have a son who's a sophomore in college.
There are days I wonder what on earth I was thinking, but I wouldn't change
it for the world.
