Sarah
This is what my Facebook profile says....
"Amateur photographer, mother of three, lover of one, blog owner, doll maker, crazy about closeups and dirt smeared baby cheeks."
It's a pretty fair representation of who I am. There is more of course, most of it I am still figuring out. It changes, sometimes daily, I try to roll with it, sometimes unsuccessfully. Often grudgingly.
I'm sarcastic and cynical, angry with things that are larger then me. I am an atheist, pro choice feminist who is passionate about gay rights.
I started Envisage 365 because I was tired of the way it seemed women were constantly pitted against one another. My experience with other women had always been wrought with frustration, jealousy and anger.
Last year I created a place for women to be themselves, to revel in our differences and take comfort in our similarities. Throughout the year I found a place that was no longer wrought with frustration, jealousy and anger, but filled with a sense of belonging and understanding, even through what I had sometimes viewed as differences that were unbreachable.
Thank you for joining me for another year.

Thank you for that. That is why I followed Envisage last year and joined this year.
"We're not so different you and I..."
That's the meaning I pulled from the blog and it made me feel hope. Not that I think we all need to be cookie cutter models of sameness but that on a personal level we can respect each other regardless of differences and recognize the same spark of humanity that dwells within each of us.
Again, thank you Sarah. I really needed this. I love that we as women can bust through the stereotypes and pull together as a supportive community. You should be proud that you have created this community. I am proud just to be a part of it.
