Mary Jane
Hey everybody! I'm Mary Jane. I just got married on May 17, 2009. I live with my husband, Nathan, The Auctioneer and The Dog, Bubba. We moved into our home May 4, 2009. After years of trying, I finally found a great guy. It wasn't an easy journey getting here, but I know that the things that happened made me a better person, helped me appreciate the things that we have now. Sometimes I almost feel guilty we are so happy.
I wanted to do this project because it will send me on another new journey, hopefully discovering things about myself and others around me. I'm not much of a photographer, but maybe doing this picture-taking effort, I can become a rough amateur.
I grew up in Sandy Springs, GA (near Atlanta) and have never lived anywhere further than 50 miles from there. I'm fairly conservative in my politics, I believe in God, true love (although it's sometimes very hard to find), friends for life, family, lemon drops, puppy breath, sitting outside in the evenings, my job (I'm a legal secretary), playing the piano, soaking up the sun, music...glorious music, laughter, fighting for what's right but not hurting anyone in the process, and those are just for starters....I worry WAY too much, hate gorillas and snakes, can be really lazy, eat way too much, can be a spoiled brat, addicted to Facebook and wake up extremely grumpy some days. But those are just parts of me. Maybe through these pictures we can get to know one another. And maybe, just maybe, I will find other parts of me that I didn't know were there. Internet friends, it's nice to meet you.

Mary Jane, I am so happy to see you taking on a new hobby :).
What a coincidence that I also just started taking pictures with my new Sony DSC-H50 camera (advanced point and shoot - not quite a DSLR).
I hope you get joy out of this and I look forward to following you on your "escapades".
Check my FB photos from time to time for updates on my end).
Love you and so glad to see you happy!
*waves at you from Norcross!*
I just wanted to say that I have a dog named Bubba too. He was Jim until we had a daughter and her first was Bubba. Now it is his name.
Congratulations on your recent wedding!
