So starts another year and another journey and yes apparently I do change my
hair colour quite a bit if the first year of Envisage is any indication.
Trust me by the time we get under way I think I may be embracing my grey.
I am an IT geek who is currently a SAHM, at least for the next year while
I'm on maternity leave (yay Canada and the government funded year long
maternity leave) I currently reside in Calgary, Alberta but I long for my
home Province of British Columbia and the ocean. I am the mother of two
lovely ladies, one from my marriage to someone I should of known better
about, who we shall call The Starlet who is 5 and my latest adventure The
Little Diva or as we affectionately call her Chicken since she was a wee bit
scrawny upon arrival. She is the product of my current relationship with a
dear sweet man who defies all explanation. Trust me you will learn more
about him than you ever care to in the next year...
This year is a year of recovery, and self discovery waiting to happen. As I
write this I am only 3 weeks post-op from my c-section and the pneumonia
that made it necessary and which landed me in ICU for 4 days, 2 of which
were spent hooked up to a machine doing the breathing on my behalf. I'm
also 3 weeks away from finding out if I can have any more babies. So I
figure this year will be a new chapter in many ways and I look forward to
sharing it with you all.
