Amanda 1/365

The Husband has been out most nights this week. Either working late or at
band rehearsals. I've been having to take care of business on my own.

Holy shit Amanda, you know how to get the new year of Envisage off with a bang! Way to go! And that is one MF'n serious high-powered toy you got there. Wear it OUT!!

Amanda Nellie September 1, 2009 at 12:41 PM

Mama, it uses up batteries like you wouldn't believe. I invested in rechargables specifically for this orange toy.

Ok I am sorry. Call me stupid. But can someone tell me what this is. Is this what I am thinking it is ?

carleewandowski September 1, 2009 at 2:08 PM

And what a pretty thing it is!

Heather September 1, 2009 at 2:21 PM

OMG Autoreverse! That thing looks complimcated! Is it loud?

Nickie September 1, 2009 at 2:38 PM

Whoa! That thing is industrial-strength! I can't even imagine what "auto-reverse" might mean! LOL

Laura September 1, 2009 at 2:50 PM

Huh...been thinking of doing some shopping...so you say you recommend this one? Hmm...

Amanda Nellie September 1, 2009 at 3:24 PM

Laura and Heather. It is kinda loud. Other than that, I like it a great deal. Now, this is the only one I own but I'm also looking for something else to add to my collection.

MaryFran September 1, 2009 at 3:47 PM

Auto reverse eh? Have fun!

Pam September 1, 2009 at 4:54 PM

How much of a geek am I that I got excited when I saw F1, F2 and F3 keys?

Not like it's going to check email or anything...

Although that would be cool.

Heather September 1, 2009 at 5:00 PM

If i had a sex toy that checked my email I'd never get out of bed!

mama_gretch September 1, 2009 at 5:30 PM

I can't wait to see if my daughter asks me to explain this picture! All your comments are cracking me up!

Bridget September 1, 2009 at 6:57 PM

Gretchen, you have some 'splainin to do... ;-)

Pam September 1, 2009 at 7:17 PM

What if F2 was twitter? What kind of tweets would it send out?

(stopping now)

Sarah Two September 1, 2009 at 7:22 PM

I would TOTALLY follow F2 on Twitter. I would. And randomly it would probably tweet things like, "Bzzzzzzzzzz. Bzzzzzzzzzzz."

Lara September 1, 2009 at 8:33 PM

that has waaaay to many buttons for me!!
hahaha

syene September 1, 2009 at 10:31 PM

I had so many things I had wanted to do tonight . . . and now all I can think about is auto reverse!

Wendy September 1, 2009 at 11:57 PM

Okay, first of all - I love that this group is full of ladies that are as dorky/nerdy as I am. (That's re: the Twitter comments!)

And second, I really love that your very first photo is this. I have to ask if it has a name, though, because all the ones in our house have names. :)

Ah, this is embarrassing. When my daughter was four, she found it under the bed.

Since then it's been "Mommy's funny toy."

And the term for playing with it is 'vibrating'. For example, if The Husband is out of town and calls to ask what I did that evening I'll answer "I vibrated a little because I missed you."

Dawn September 2, 2009 at 8:34 AM

Ah yes, the "Honey, don't play with things you find hidden in moms dresser" convo .... I have had it more than I care to relate.

I loved my (now deceased) Rabbit Pearl. But I have others who have filed the gap in my ( cough) heart.

keebler9061 September 2, 2009 at 9:09 AM

HAHAHA. my mother in law was sitting next to me while i was looking at the pics, and almost spit out her tea.

however, referring to embarrassing moments with the "purchases", my husband got a little drunky-drunk one night and saw it and busted out laughing, and then proceeded to show it to his brothers friends (read:teenage boys). it now stays tucked safely away.
