This moment was too cute to not take a picture of. Here, Rob (my husband)
teaches Gabriel (my son) the basics of playing D&D. Rob and I are both
gamers and so there's a good chance our son will be one as well. Gabriel
just sat down next to Rob as he was looking through the book and began
asking questions.

My darling Starlet currently has a ranger... she plays for maybe 10 minutes and then runs off but god forbid we don't have her minature out! She's 5.
Not that Gabe's Wonder Pets jammies aren't cute, but I happen to think the blue/stars pj pants Rob is wearing are cute. Something tells me he has a matching wonder pets pj shirt somewhere around there.

D&D is so much fun! All little gamers out there should check it out. So many good things come from playing D&D... math skills, story telling ability, teamwork, creativity.. the list goes on. I hope your kid has fun with D&D sometime. :D
I'm not a gamer, table top or video, but the monkey's father is. She's 17 months and he already takes her to his weekly game! I'm more than happy to let that be their thing, plus it allows me to have a nap once in a while.
