I went to the opera tonight. To see The Ring (das rheingold) This is the light hanging down in the lobby of Seattle's McCaw Hall. The sets were amazing, it almost felt like I was watching a movie, and the singers have no microphones, its so natural.

Yay, another Seattle Girl! Well, I'm in Everett, but close enough. Can't get my husband to see the opera but I am (don't know how I managed this) getting him to take me to see Wicked. I can't believe I live in the area and have never been to McCaw Hall. That is a fantastic photo!
How was "The Ring" ? I've never been to the opera but would love to give it a go.

Everytime I go to McCaw Hall, I stand under this and just stare up...
