The honkers are back! The Canada geese are one of the perks of living near
the Mississippi flyway. I like the way these four seem to be completely
synchronized with their flapping.

i love love love geese. whenever i see them, i try to stop so i can listen and hear them honking. i saw my first "V" of them last week, but it was almost dark and i guess they were tired or flying in stealth mode because they were silent.
Great shot! We are having quite the controversy over Geese in Bend - same problem as mama-gretch mentioned. There has been all sorts of suggestions on how to get rid of them (including sending them to Phoenix somehow). It will be interesting to see what develops!
