We took the bus downtown after lunch to go to Charter House, a retirement home owned by Mayo Clinic. Every year they do a Halloween party that is open to the public, they give out apples and snacks (pumpkin doughnut holes yum!) and treat bags.
Here is Alice with this years Pumpkin Queen. She didn't want to take the picture until a lady in front of us explained that all the people who live there really like to see the kids in their costumes, so it isn't so much for her as for them. She did it gladly after that, although she was a little peeved that everyone thought she was a boy.

That is quite an elaborate costume she has!! good for her!
That is one heck of a costume! Now I know what Optimus Prime is at least! Yay for Alice for being kind :-)

Blah. I love that Alice wants to dress like a Transformer. Had The Boy wanted to dress up like Xena instead of Chuck Norris, I would have been WAY okay with that.
Love the contrast in the picture between Optimus Prime and the Pumpkin Queen! So cute.
