Wow, what a difference a kid makes!!..................
Last week J's conference was one of the worst days of my recent life!
Today, K's conference went WONDERFUL...............but, in all fairness,
he's only in 3rd grade...........holding my breath for the years to
come.................. ;{

i admire you, R2, for all the energy and attention you give to those boys (considering they aren't yours) - and trust me when i say....it will make a huge difference in their lives. my DH is hard on my boys....but they are better human beings because of it. my oldest looks to K as his dad....in fact, i wish he'd just start calling him dad. my youngest...he's beginning to see that K has always had his best interests at heart. keep it up - in the long run....everyone will be the better for it.

Yeah, absolutely mad props to you. So proud of you for sticking with him. It will definitely pay off in the long run.
