Andrea

I’m a little nervous about this project for a couple of reasons. First of
all, most of my pictures turn out blurry. I’d like to blame my camera, but
it really is a pretty good camera and when I’ve taken pictures with others
cameras….they come out the same way. So I’m pretty sure it is operator
error. Secondly, can I really stick with something for a solid year? Only
time will tell.

I feel like I really need to shake things up in my personal life. Maybe
taking on this project will help to accomplish that.

My father died about a week ago and his death has left me contemplating my
life. And I have concluded that it is pretty boring! I am pretty boring! If
I bore myself…what must others think? So I need to challenge myself to get
out of my comfort zone and explore some new things.

I’m 46. Married to a wonderful man for 10 years. We’ve had our ups and
downs like any couple…but the ups continue to outweigh the downs so I’d say
we are ahead of the game. This is a 2nd marriage for us both and we are
determined to get it right this time!

I have 2 wonderful sons (that I’m sure you’ll get to know thru my posts)
that truly are my greatest accomplishment to date. My oldest just went away
for his freshman year at college last week. I’m adjusting. My youngest is
15 and is a sophomore in high school.

We are also parents to two miniature dachshunds – and you WILL be seeing
lots of pictures of them. Lola and Phoebe – but we call her Fibe.

I am an accountant by day. A wannabe baker in my spare time.

Did I mention that I live in North Georgia – the most awesomest place on
earth? Oh, and my very best friend is also participating in this project –
beautiful Mary Jane.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father - so very sorry.

This is a great project with a great group of women. We all get backlogged every so often - in fact I am now.

I live in Southern Tennessee? I'm about 30-40 minutes north of Chattanooga. I live in Monteagle, which is down the road from Sewanee University. Are we close?

Anyway, welcome aboard.

I SO feel you on feeling boring. I'm betting we're both way less boring than we think we are. ;)

Trust me Lindsey...she's not boring. :) I have yet to be bored with her. And I see her a lot!

I'm sorry about the loss of your father. :(

I hope you take pictures of some of the things you bake! I love food pictures.
