Hi there! I am a 49 year old, divorced, slightly neurotic (but in a fun way) commercial real estate manager in Boston with a pretty normal urban, middle-class life. I’ve been watching this site for a year while my sister Gretchen participated, and was often moved by the honesty, creativity and warmth of the women. I’m looking forward to sharing some entertaining, revealing, creative, and/or funny photos over the coming year.



As for me, I swear too much, eat too much red meat (I’m chomping steak at my desk while I type this), I am largely apolitical, sometimes intellectually lazy, and often overly concerned with my appearance.



Other than that I’m charming! J



I have a beautiful 20 year old daughter, Siena, who is a junior in college and will be spending a semester in England next year. I live by myself in Lynn, Massachusetts (just north of Boston) with my Calico cat Sophie. On the creative side, I play guitar and paint (acrylic on canvas). Much to my surprise, I have actually sold work at a local gallery. I’ll be starting a new painting soon. I have just started dating again after the unexpected and dismal break-up of a 5-year relationship. Recently I’ve been seeing a really sweet, cool guy but feel awkward navigating the waters of dating at the age of 50. I’ll be seeking advice.



Overall, I am happy and healthy and grateful for it. I am really looking forward to being a part of the blog and getting to know you all! I also hope to learn about myself along the way.
