Karen

My name is Karen, and I’m a 31 year old software engineer living in
southwest Ohio. I work for a Department of Defense contractor. I live on a
small farm with my husband, 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 outside cats, and a dozen
chickens. There is a severe shortage of horsie pics on this site and
hopefully I can help fix that! I am an only child – sometimes that’s good,
sometimes that’s bad.

In my ever-diminishing free time, I enjoy horseback riding, camping, hiking,
needlework type crafts, drawing, and beating people up in my Tae Kwon Do
class (kidding, sort of). I have started a very small side business of sorts
doing horse (but could be anything) portraits for some folks on a horse
internet board I read. I’m sure I’ll post some of them here. I also
absolutely love to do construction/fix it/home improvement type things and
I’m pretty good at it, if I do say so.

I normally hate pictures of myself, but I’m trying to get over that because
if someday I disappear (intentionally or not) there has to be SOME pictures
around to give to the police to help find me.

I discovered the Envisage project a month or so ago and went back and looked
at all the posts. I am excited to join for the second year!
