Linda

I'm Linda. I'm a university professor in the I.T. area, and hope to retire
in about 3 years (I'm 52). I'm currently living with the love of my life;
he lights up my world in so many ways, and we live a very full life. We do
quite a bit of traveling, enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, like to
garden, and attend a lot of our local college basketball and football
games. We have a chocolate lab puppy, and with any luck, we'll have a
German Shepherd puppy in our lives soon.

I've been a participant in the first round of Envisage, and have thoroughly
enjoyed the experience. I think my photography skills have improved over
the course of this project (I've taken over 12,000 pictures during the past
year), and I'm hoping they improve even more over the next year. It seems
as though I get one really good picture for every 50 or so that I take.
Maybe that ratio will get better during this next round.

It's also been fascinating to get to know my fellow participants through
their pictures, captions, and comments. We are all alike in so many ways.

It looks like there are several participants from the first round going on
with the second round. I look forward to getting to know those ladies
better, and the new ones, as well. You newbies will learn a lot about
yourselves during the course of the year. I certainly have.
