This will get the most boring picture of the day award! This is the crane
at my work. It has a big claw on it that moves across and back and forth on
big tracks - kind of like train tracks. It is for unloading log trucks.
The claw can grab an entire log truck of logs. Back in the boom days of
housing (we manufacture housing materials; floors, walls and roofing) the
log pile was probably twice as high and longer than a football field. Fires
are a constant threat in this business. If our log pile ever caught
fire....we'd be in big trouble.
