This is my new granddaughter. She is 8 lbs 15 oz. My son and his wife live
in the Dallas area, which is only about 3 1/2 hours from my house. I was
all ready to jump in the car and run up to see her, but they have requested
to have no visitors for a few weeks. It is killing me to not be there, but
I have to respect their wishes. This is really a cheat since it isn't a
picture I took.

You are the perfect grandma/mother/in-law ever! So many grandmas don't get the need for a little baby moon for the new family! She's gorgeous, congratulations!

What's her name? She is a doll. Are they holding off visitors because of the flu going around, or a need for privacy and getting settled?
