After many, many years away from playing any musical instrument my older daughter has decided to get involved again. We have a local marching/concert band which is very casual so she has decided to start there with heer new
piccolo and her old clarinet (which has many stories to tell from her college marching band days). She also plays the piano but has not touched that at all for years ...so is getting some sheet music together for that. It makes me happy that she is getting involved again. She is going through some changes in her personal life and I think this will be good for her. Some diversion for her hectic life as she works full time and is writing a doctoral dissertation in her free (?) moments.
