My grandma and I made homemade tortillas today. At some point when I am back
in London I want to have friends over for Mexican food, and have been
working on my recipes. I took the opportunity on this trip to practice my
tortilla making and to learn to make a nice tomatillo sauce (very easy
actually).

I want to know how to make tortillas -- were they corn or flour? And I swear, you need to open a proper Mexican restaurant in London, they would go mad!
Corn! They're actually pretty easy but just take a little practice to get the thickness right and you have to buy the masa and a tortilla press (probably easier for you to find in Texas! though I found a supplier in London)
