The last photo of this year's 365 project and I couldn't have picked a
better or more fitting day.

My 5 year old daughter started kindergarten today and I've been reminiscing
about how quickly the time has passed and how it seems so hard to believe
that she's ready to go to kindergarten. In much the same way, I cannot
believe how quickly this year has passed with this project.

It seems only fitting that this project end with a photo showing such an
exciting new beginning.

Photo from a field hockey scrimmage this weekend. My older daughter is a
junior in high school and plays on the varsity field hockey team. My
youngest daughter will be starting kindergarten on Tuesday. As if that age
difference isn't enough, I also have a son who's a sophomore in college.
There are days I wonder what on earth I was thinking, but I wouldn't change
it for the world.

I cannot believe there's only one day left in this project. It has
absolutely *flown* past. Today's photo is a table I found on Craigslist for
$10 and have repainted in fun colors. The top will be chalkboard paint. I'm
taking it to my new office to liven it up a bit.

Drove to watch my daughter in a field hockey scrimmage today. On our way
there we stopped to get some lunch for her and my younger daughter got some
juice. In this snazzy Hello Kitty scuba bottle. I am in love with Hello
Scuba Kitty.

A friend with an amazing garden shared some of his tomatoes with us today.
We had some for dinner and they were amazing! Thank you, @JamieOber!

Tonight was the annual "Field Hockey Potluck" where the varsity and JV
players and their parents all bring food and are subjected to two hours of
boring talk about booster clubs, homecoming floats, and clothing orders.

Or maybe that's just how I see it.

We took a photo of all the students, staff, and faculty in the School of
Theatre. This is a photo of our director taking off his socks so he can
stand in the fountain for the photo.

We gave cookies to the students today. Lots of cookies. Happy ones.

I got a new monitor at work. Found this on my desk when I showed up this
morning. Yay!

The kid. Wearing her necklace and iPod around the house.

Took my daughter to a local park today. There's this great creek that's
super shallow in one spot that's perfect for kids. We had a fantastic
afternoon.

Today we took our daughter to a local amusement park. She hated the
Scrambler/Merry Mixer, but loved the train.

Today we had a staff retreat at work and we toured The Arboretum at Penn
State. It's an absolutely glorious space. This was one of my favorite spots
- the lotus pool. Apparently they dye it with black vegetable dye so that
the lily pads on the top really "pop" against the black. It was absolutely
gorgeous.

Took this on my walk to the office this morning.

Walkway through the sculpture garden to the Palmer Museum of Art on campus.
Walked there today over lunch to pick up a card for a friend.

This is the theatre in the building where I work. It's right smack in the
middle with offices all around it. I love it.

My daughter loves playing with Polly Pockets. A friend of mine gave her a
Polly Pocket cruise ship that used to belong to her daughter. Here's Polly
hanging out in the lifeguard seat. Good thing she's not afraid of heights.

I've recently moved into a new office and I'm working on giving it some
life. I had a few of my photos enlarged and picked up some frames today.
I'll take them into the office Monday and hopefully hang them on the wall.

Photo of the fountain in front of my building taken today from the second
floor window.

Took this photo on campus this afternoon. While I realize the black fence is
likely there to prevent people from climbing the water tower, I always wish
it was like a small zoo for woodland creatures.
