After getting Jacelyn all squared away I took Miss Alice to the theatre to see Cats and Dogs, The Revenge of Kitty Galore. I was secretly pleased that I got glasses to wear as I was able to doze off with out being suspected. Utter exhaustion you have stayed too long.

And so it ends...but really, like I told Andrea when we left the airport,
it's really not ending...it's just beginning. But Sunday at the
airport, this weekend came to a close with bittersweet tears, lots of hugs,
lots of laughs, lots of love and promises of more to come.

"E" for life....Bridge's back, my shoulder, R2's foot on the left, Andrea's
on the right.

I wish I could tell you all how awesome this weekend has been....I could
never even do it justice with my inadequate words. I don't recall ever
meeting someone and becoming instant friends like I have with R2 and Bridge,
except for Andrea. I am so thankful for Envisage bringing these wonderful
ladies into my life and enriching the already-great relationship I have with
Andrea. There are so many great photos from this weekend, that I may have
to use a few as cheats this next week. I thought you all needed to see this
one though.

Dropped the kiddo off at football practice this morning. I can't believe
it's that time of year again. I love his high school for letting special
needs kids help out as team mangers. It does so much for Sam's self esteem.
Also this team is a pretty great group of guys. You should've heard them
greeting him as he walked up. They were really happy to see him. I almost
teared up a little. I love this school.

Smiling! In his letter I got today, he said he misses music and snacks the
most. They went on a Land Navigation exercise. Because he did the best, he
was assigned to a group that didn't do so well. In the middle of the night,
walking thru dark woods. Lost. After 2 hours (the alloted time) he took
over the compass and got them back to camp in 20 minutes. His quote: "I
don't like idiots and I definitely don't like being lost in the woods at
night with idiots."

This sweet little man asked me last night if his Daddy tried to make me die. Someone has heard things I didn't want him to hear from someones mouth. I won't lie to him, so I told him yes, that Daddy was very sick and he couldn't think right, but that he was very sorry and wished he hadn't done that.

Someday Little Eli will have questions for Robert, hard questions that he has a right to ask. I hope Robert has helped himself enough by that time to give his child the answers he deserves.

Sunday morning at around 4am. It was a tough one, mostly because of my caption from the day before. It caused trouble, quite a bit of it in fact.

I love him and it hurts me to see him hurt, I will do anything to make it not happen again.
