LJ - if you ever want to see your glasses again...get it... 'see' your
glasses?? My BFF usually stops here a couple of times a week on the way
home, and I swear, she leaves something each time she comes. She can never
find her keys when she gets ready to leave, will leave her phone... which
makes it REALLY hard to call and tease her!! This time, she left her
glasses... which I love almost as much as she does! This is for when she
misses 'em... but then again, she can't see the pic!

It has been so cloudy and 'moist' - either humidity or rain for the last

I hate this tub. It is like a shoe box - no soaking here. Hell!! The whole
bathroom is like a shoe box. My bestie and I went to look at other
properties since my lease ends in December. We found my next apartment,
with a garden soaking tub. I am very excited... I miss my soaks....

My bff and I had an 'impromptu' soup swap yesterday. I made a vegetable beef with frozen corn, peas and green beans, with left over brisket from HER fridge and some cabbage and squash from her and a sweet potatoe from my pantry. SHE made a lovely chicken soup with fresh corn, spinach and big fat carrots. I had mine last night (with plenty in the fridge) and her's tonight! I made some corn bread with cheese, corn and chili pepper (with a sprinkle of sugar!) and am 'fat and happy' now!

Yesterday marked the 1st Anniversary of IKE. The sky was interesting
all day, one moment cloudy and black, one moment blue and white fluffy
clouds...I took this pic around 11 am. The bougainvillea in the pic
was given to me yesterday by a neighbor that is moving to Sarasota.

How I spent my Saturday... I love the look, but will be shifting the
framed prints around a bit to accommodate the lamp. I purchased the
bookcase a couple of weeks ago from Walmart and then got the lamp
yesterday from the same place. I needed a little light there and the
floor lamp was too much. I get funny about the lights in the
evenings... I like nice soft light after the sun goes down.
