Since I began this year on Envisage with a sunrise photo, thought I would
end it with a sunset. It's been a great year getting to know everyone and
enjoying your photography.
I am taking a sabbatical for this year since I will be very busy
relocating. Hope to rejoin you all next year.

Found these online and ordered 2 for whatever screened porch I end up
with in SC. They are made of Texteline which cleans up and dries easily.

This weekend would have been my 50th wedding anniversary had my husband
lived. My daughter and I decided to celebrate anyway with this all time
favorite meal.
Sorry you missed it F , we thought of you and talked of old times.

Good old urban sprawl!

Sunset at 30,000 feet. I felt like I was reliving last winter as I
looked at all the cloud cover.

They have all the bases covered with this RV on the water.

Bought this oil painting for whatever new house I buy in SC. Kind of all
the colors I hope to have in the living room.
I am storing it at my daughter's home since it really wasn't a carry on
item.

Scrumptious birthday dinner for my older daughter......my first time at
The Cheesecake Factory...had chicken and biscuits and will have the other
half tonight.
For desert we shared 2 cheesecake servings for the 3 of us...lemon raspberry
and tiramisu. To die for!!

Two tomato plants and an eggplant filling up a 4' square raised bed.
Late being planted so late being harvested.

A rarity of late but a cooked from scratch dinner for me.....baked
chicken, sauteed shredded zucchini and wide noodles mixed with the pan
essence and mushroom soup. Delish!
Unfortunately this was followed by a fire in my next door neighbor's
kitchen. She had left some papers too close to the stove and it took
off.....they will have to get a whole new kitchen..
I can think of better ways of accomplishing that.

As if I didn't have enough to do, this morning I saw a neighbor's puggle
roaming the street so took him into my yard and got him on a leash. Walked
him over to his owner's (way back off the road) only to find no one home.
I kept him for about 3 hours (gave him a badly needed bath..pew!) and
finally couldn't take the barking any longer and had no idea when they would
be home. He was fine as long as I was outside with him (95 degrees)
But as soon as I was out of sight he just barked his head off. I finally
called the animal control and they came and got him. They checked the home
first and found the 18 yr. Old son at home so they released the dog to him.
He is such a loving dog, it's a shame how some people treat their pets. His
name is BamBam.
