Deciding the last picture was painfully difficult. But, whoo. Here we go.
Another year done. An amazing year - in just looking back through my own
photos over the past year, I can't believe what a year it's been and it's
been awesome to share it with y'all. I haven't signed up for year 3 -- while
I anticipate that I will keep up my picture a day habit (because it IS habit
now), I will probably keep posting on my own to my Flickr and other assorted
webby places. But I'll be watching y'all.

Took a carriage tour of Mackinac Island today. Twenty years of living in
Michigan and this weekend was my first time up to Mackinac.

Had a meeting today to talk about a volunteer opportunity with a local
professional organization. It's not like I'm bored and needing things to do
- but I like to keep myself challenged and to keep life interesting.
Opportunities to network don't hurt either.

Gearing up for the onslaught of cheerleaders. I went to help Robin shoot the
cheerleaders today (uh, with her camera of course!). Here's a silly shot

I wore my new shoes this morning. It was in the 60s when I left the house
which was a nice change.

This is the product of me needing to get out of the house because I was
going stir crazy. We've still got a few weeks til school starts here. I just
needed a few minutes of downtime. I may or may not later regret getting
coffee at 6:30 p.m..

He FINALLY got the splint off. The leg is a little weak yet and kind of
wobbly. He's like a little baby pony.

It's our ten year anniversary today!

He wasn't supposed to buy me anything (he gave me my camera a few months
ago, I got him something for his motorcycle). But then he surprised me with
green Chucks. I love these. I was just thinking about getting these!
