I love this project.

Ladies, it's been incredible getting to know you all. Through your eyes and
words and willingness to share yourselves, I believe I have grown as a
person. I have learned from your perspectives and experiences. I can't
thank you enough for the support and encouragement you have shown me and I
know I'm going to miss posting. But I'll be watching Year Three and
staying connected with the group.

As the year draws to a close, I would like to give a shout out to my camera,
the vehicle through which I have expressed myself to all of you in so many
ways. This project has wildly exceeded all of my initial expectations,
and my trusty Nikon kept pace the whole way despite the mild abuse
(forgotten lens caps, scratches, drops, bumps, water infiltration,
etc.), So thank you Nikon Coolpix P90. You fucking rock.

The sweet old boy hangs out in the parking lot at the nursing home
sometimes. I see him once in a while.
I didn't see him today until I nearly RAN HIM OVER.
He seem completely unfazed by his brush with death and let me take his
picture.

I love this picture of Pete Townshend and made it my wallpaper. I'm also
learning a Who song right now (Bargain) so I'm channeling energy from his
presence on my computer. Any minute now I'm gonna sound just like Roger
Daltry and starting swinging my guitar around the room windmill style!!

She is such a sweet kitty.
If I lay down on my bed for a nap during the day, she'll come up beside me
and rest her head on the pillow with mine.

I made arrangements for my mom to come home today for a 3 hour visit. I
think it was really confusing and exhausting for her. Two hours into the
visit she kept wheeling herself over to my front door and pointing at it,
like she wanted to go. I can't understand a thing she says so I'm not sure
what she wanted. Thankfully, the wheelchair van showed up 20 minutes early
to take her back so I was able to get her home a little sooner. We went
together back to the nursing home and then she cried when I dropped her off.

I took some pictures of her while she was here but I hated them. She just
looks so awful. So instead, I am posting a picture of the very strong drink
I made myself the minute I got home.

I was inspired by MJ's recent photos and decided to take a pic of my own
doodles. This is our weekly operations meeting agenda. Every week we (me)
put a new picture at the top. Today was Friday the
