The Annual Austin Kite Festival. Hundreds of kites - big, small, home made,
expensive store bought, kids, parents, grandparents.

Since she will only be spending half of her Spring Break with me (the other
half with her dad) I wanted to plan a fun time together. So we started off
at the horse races. We did not come out ahead, but we had a blast.

When I was putting the dog out this morning, I noticed the moon was still
up. The sky was just starting to lighten. I love the shade of blue, the
silhouette of the tree, and a thin sliver of the moon.

Some movie stars are filmed with filters to make them look better. My
backyard needs to be mowed something terrible, but the fog makes it look
better.

The studio where I take my stained glass class has other people's
work-in-progress displayed. This piece is about 4 ft long and 3 ft high. A
lady built a house in Colorado and she is making this to go in her new
house. She works on it about 30 hours a week. It is stained glass and
fused glass. I wish you could see it in person because it is very unique.

Why do pills have to be sealed as if we were going to send them to Mars? It
isn't like this is heroin. It is Prilosec! And it takes a hacksaw to get
to the damn things. Frustrated.

If you were a snail, this might be your view of a dandelion. I have lots of
dandelions. I have lots of snails, too. Not a good thing

Started on my next stained glass piece - a 4 sided box with a candle on the
inside. I'm not excited about this one, but it is part of the class.

One of my goals for the year was to do routine back-ups on my computer. So
I finally signed up for Mozy. But because I have SO many pictures on my
computer, the initial back-up will take about a week. This has currently
been running for 2 1/2 days and this is all the progress it has made so far.

My favorite musical is "Fiddler on the Roof" and I was fortunate enough to
see it twice this week. It was FANTASTIC!
