This chaps my ass.
This is an empty box of tampons at 6:57 a.m.
Seems my lovely daughter took the last one and didn't think to tell
anyone or, god forbid, buy more.
I've just gotten my period and if I run out to buy more now I'll miss
the train.
So I stuff paper towels in my underwear to hold me over until I get to
the office.

This is why my mom always gave us each our own separate boxes of tampons and pads. With four girls and then her, this was the only way to make sure that each one was responsible for theirs. We could borrow one from someone else...but it was our responsibility to restock.
Your mom is a wise woman and I bet she never once had to put paper towels in her panties!!! ;-)
I suggest a diva cup, never buy tampons again.
Cindylou...what is a diva cup??? I need to google that asap!
Oh how horrible!!! Hate the ol toilet paper stuffing thing, but I'm we've all done it a time or two. One nice thing about buying the tampons at work is the machine still sells them for a dime. Cheaper then even buying htem in bulk!! :)
This would chap my ass too - big time.
I would hide a box to keep for my personal consumption...but I am a bit of a weird hoarder.
I totally do the toilet paper wad at least once a cycle....
Diva cup = champagne glass you shove up there to collect, empty, wash, and repeat.
uh....let me think. no. ;-)
I'm lucky, my mother and sister refuse to switch from pads to tampons.. no idea why.
but that means my stash is safe!
I can't use tampons, my insides are shaped all weird so they don't "fit" right. Ugh.
She must like living dangerously. LOL.
love love love the Diva cup. leave it in all day and never worry about leaking, being caught without a spare, or - heaven forbid - finding an empty box.
Out of five kids, God saw to it to only give me one daughter, days like this make me understand his wisdom. Yep, that would get me too.
I've heard about the diva cup....but I've never been brave enough to get one and try!
