I am deeply connected to my accessories!! I could probably tell you
where and when I bought each piece you see here, and what the
circumstances were.
Allow me to ramble for a sec: I once had a pair of earrings I wore
all the time when I was pregant, during my worst morning sickness.
For YEARS I couldn't even look at those earrings without feeling
nauseous! Isn't that weird???

If you're still feeling pukey, I'll take those off your hands!

I happened to see a commercial for a Mexican place while in the hospital and feeling about the worst I ever had, for years after that even mentioning Mexican food would make me nauseous. It's a defense mechanism, or so I've been told.

That is an awesome shot. I love the rose in there...not sure what it's connected to, but it sure is pretty.

Wow! That's crazy. But, it's all about association I guess. When I see a florescent light flickering and ready to burn out, I immediately associate it with the flashes I get before a migraine and get almost instantly sick.

Mary Jane - the rose is part of a silver bracelet I bought for myself on my birthday last year in West Palm Beach.

Robin Two: that's wild about the lights!

Funny. I ate Sunchips the day before my morning sickness kicked in and couldn't eat them for at least a decade afterward. They had nothing to do with my nausea but still there was some kind of association. I got over it eventually though. Oh and there were shows I watched that I couldn't watch for years because I watched them when I had morning sickness and they made me queasy. Glad to hear that's a common thing. Thought I was a little nuts...well, I may be nuts, but at least not about this ;-)
