We took the kids to the zoo this evening (from left: Stephanie,
Madaline, Hayley, Gabriel, and Kyle) and decided that we have pretty
darn good kids.
And then when it was time to go home, the whining commenced. What, no
hippos? You said we could see the hippos? No gift shop? But we brought
money. We don't want to go home yet. Not bedtime! I wanna take a bath!

But of course, my dear..they sensed a weakness in the force...
they just had to ruin that special moment, huh. :)
Uh, yeah. It works like that 'round here... luckily for all of them, they redeem themselves most of the time. F'rinstance, in the mountain lion exhibit there was a couple standing right in the middle of the path, and every single one of our kids said "excuse me" or "pardon me" before they moved around this couple. Guess we'll keep 'em around for another week or two...
