Not a very good picture but the navy blue dot on the far right is my
Sam. He is a manager for his high school football team. I adore his
high school, the coaches and the athletes who are willing to let the
special ed kids be a part of the team. They are so open minded it
takes my breath away. The spirit of inclusion at his school is
absolutely beautiful. I am so grateful that Sam has this opportunity.

Ok, I'll get a better picture from the next game. I promise.

That is so wonderful. I used to work at an Intermediate school district that was housed in a local high school. We had our own wing and occasionally when the high school kids walked by we would hear variations on retard. Nothing we did to try and get this to stop worked. It was awful and made me so angry.

I am so glad that Sam is having a different kind of experience at his high school, it sounds amazing.
