robin- this looks so fancy! can you tell me why the bracket vs. just a regular flash attachment? i would love to get a flash that you can "bounce" light with one day!
When shooting verticle with the flash being on the camera it throws a shadow to the side of the subject, and in some cases especially in low light it is better to have the flash higher than the top of the camera to get rid of the shadows behind the person or object. My camera is bolted to a plate inside the bracket and it can be moved to a verticle position without moving the flash itself, which hopefully when shooting a wedding (especially a wedding) on a tripod you'll never lose the same lighting effect from shot to shot :) I have wanted one of these for a long time! Ebay had the best price and it came with the cord! :)
