Robin Two 13/365

Was at the flea market today on this beautiful 80 degree day with my
boyfriend and his 12 year old son. Cought a hint of what I first thought
was sour onions......

Nope.................Stinky armpits. EWW!!! :{ Had the ol BO talk and
explained how it can totally distroy someone his age if he get's caught
stinkin'. He couldn't wait to get home and shower and sprits his pits with
his new can of deodorant.

Someone's growing up............ :)

BO at 12? Wow! I must be the only person I know that hit puberty REALLY late.

Aw Robin - I gave Em this same talk - in fact, the Cycle 3 kids have deodorant on their school supply list to be kept in the locker...

UGG!! :{ I know Tim and I will make sure he wears it, but when he goes to his mothers (50/50 custody), she doesn't even make him brush his teeth, so I doubt she will be worried about deodorant.... I just don't ever want him to get the "stink boy" label at school. I remember the "stink-o's" when I was in school :{ Maybe once he starts getting interested in girls, he will be a bit more responsible for his own grooming, ect. *crossfingers*

RobinTwo - I think your boyfriend's kid and my stepson probably are at the same school... but MAN, it's a stinky age. And I don't think my stepson's mom really cares that he smells like grossness.

DEODORANT IS NOT AN OPTION, YO. It's a necessity.

haha! It's kind of an option here, once you reach an age where you can decide AND deal gracefully with any criticism that may come your way.

I smell like my Grandpa sometimes, that's when I KNOW it's time to break out the Secret.

Oh, Sarah - i was referring to the teen/preteen boys! They seem to find a way to be stinky even when not DOING anything.

SarahTwo, Jake is in 7th at TK. Kole is in 3rd. He has Mrs. Hannipol (sp?). Maybe we will see eachother around. I used to be a room mother so knew a lot of faces, but the boys mom got so incredably jealous that I was showing her up that she now attends EVERYTHING. *rolleyes* LOL!!!

I volunteer in the school library with the Cycle 3 kids - 5th and 6th grade and WHEW! They can be like a smack in the face in the afternoon.

I told Em that EVERYONE remembers the smelly kid. Forever.
