Walking home from dropping Miss Alice off at school today i was thinking about how nice the mornings have been with her so far this year. No fighting about getting up or getting dressed or brushing teeth. Really pleasant walks to school, happy walks exploring with Eli on the way home, I took this picture while I was thinking these things.

Then I got home and shit blew up. I'm stressed and over extended, other people I converse with on a daily basis, who I consider important and good friends are also stressed and feeling on edge for any series of different personal reasons. WOW, we had a blow up that thankfully blew over quickly with both of us putting our big girl panties back on and owning up to our own individual efforts to create the mess that was. There were tears that dried quickly and hopefully served to cement our friendship even further. She is a great friend and i care about her very much.

I chose this picture today because I wanted to get back to that feeling I had this morning while walking with Eli, that feeling is the one that is important. THAT feeling is the one i want to go to bed with.

Aw, Sarah. I'm sorry, hon. I love you too. :) It's nice to be able to discuss things and work them out. Those who say "it's just the internet" , well FUCK them!!!! Real life is on the internet too. Real friendship, real people. :)

Thank you Sarah and Bridget, I tried to emulate Nickie's Day 14 submission. I think that perspective is so beautiful.

Carol, thank you. I agree 100%!

Well, they say what doesn't kill ya makes you stronger :)

Sorry you had a crappy day but thankfully it eventually repaired itself.

Enjoy your mornings........ :)

Very nice! I've always loved close-ups of wispy dandelion heads. And the side-lighting is pretty too.
