This is a good friend of ours, L. She's better friends with The Husband.
Lately, she's been using him as the person she vents to about the divorce
she's going through. Today, I had an opportunity to make some easy money
doing a market research group if The Husband could come home early. He
forgot and I was too late to participate in the group. No easy money. I
called him on my cell phone and ended up screaming 'fuck you!' at him. All
I could think was "If it was L he would have remembered."

That is annoying, and I don't like the situation.
Ouch. You have every right to feel pissed off. He'd better do some major ass-kissing to make up for THAT mistake.
Let me just say this, and I'm sure you already know it, this is skating on some seriously thin ice. L needs a new friend and your husband needs a male friend. Right now is very important.

I agree with Marie. Your husband needs to find a male friend and L needs to find a female friend, a counselor, or anyone else other than your husband. I would hate to see her tear apart your marriage. My ex husband left me for a divorcee....I don't want to see that happen to anyone else. Stay strong and work thru this. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
