it was pathfinder/adventurer induction day at church today. the adventurers
and eager beavers were soooooo friggin cute! so innocent, and they took
their marching so seriously!! pathfinders is similar to boy/girl scouts in
the seventh-day adventist church. principles of kindness, obedience and
growing a relationship with Christ are taught along discipline and
self-respect. great stuff. cant wait till my nephy is old enough!

I still remember very clearly how important I felt and how totally terrified I was during a similar ceremony in Brownies. It was one of the first "big deal" things I participated in during my childhood years. At least it was a big (HUGE) deal to me!
