This is me crying after the driving a woman to the oncologist today. I do
volunteer work driving seniors places they needed to go. I loved Miss
Lennie right away. She told me about growing up on a dairy farm in Missouri
when everything had to be done by hand. She told me how her bone marrow
cancer has spread to her intestines. Once I'd gotten her to her doctor's
office and given her a hug I ran out to my car because I was about to burst
into tears. I cried all the way home.

I am sorry Amanda. This made me cry too.
I think it's so incredible that you volunteer your time that way. I can't imagine how much you must mean to the people you help. Bravo. I hope you feel better.
That's the down side of having such a big heart & opening the love inside of it up to so many who need it. ((hug))
I can totally relate. I'm tearing up just reading your caption.... I tell ya, those people are so lucky to have such a wonderful and thoughtful person like you to assist them. That hug you gave her probably made her whole day........xo
