Heehee! It's a piercing. The foot, the part with the little holes, rested under my skin while the little post came up through my skin and finally the disc on the top screwed into the post. It wasn't happy though; it was rejecting and painful so I had my partner Em cut it out with a scalpel. I feel sooooo much better.
Eww!! :{ I just went and looked at your last years picture. I say you guys made a good choice by "operating" and getting it out. Well, for getting it out anyway. Not too sure about the self operating :{ YIKES!!
Hehehehe... oh you two. I do know Amber and her partner IRL and if anyone was gonna do surgeries like this at home and have everything be ok- it would be them! :)

Yeah - sometimes it is just better to listen when your body says "Um, I don't think so!"
wow -- a scalpel & no anesthetic (I am assuming). That's scarier than Mara's spider picture!!
No man! You're worse than I am with self "operating" and stuff!
Cool!
And, I want one of those!
Bex.
