Poinsettia that I have had growing for 3 years now. I do none of the
things they say to do (complete darkness at night, put in a cardboard box,
etc.). I have it in the morning sun facing south and it just seems to love
it there. I cut it back to about 6-8 inches every fall and this is how
quickly it has recovered. I fertilize with an organic substance and let it
dry out between waterings. This is one of 2 that I have growing. They
should be in full bloom by Christmas.
BTW I live in the northeast.
