This is what is left to stack from a cord of wood delivered on Saturday.
I do a bit each day. You can see the stacked wood in the backround. It is
hard work. Finding a good provider of firewood is hard in this area. This
is nice wood but hardly the 18" size he said it would be. I think he missed
the 2nd grade math lesson on measuring many moons ago. So there is more
cutting in my future!

Doing a bunch at one time would suck :( Sorry. But I used to love chopping wood. Just when I had to cut a round down and bring it in. I'm so happy to have a wood fireplace again!
And I used to LOVE stacking wood when I lived in Colorado and had a fireplace. I loved the way wood smelled and the simple and satisfying act of moving a pile of things from one place to another. This picture makes me happy!
