When we got off the bus from taking MIss Alice to school this morning Eli took off down the sidewalk and jumped into the maintenance mans golf cart and started to pretend to drive. I was pissed off. We generally use a child harness (a monkey on his back, ha!) because he is very quick and sometimes does not listen, usually when it's especially dangerous for him not to.

Anyway I picked him up football style and while carting him back to the apt to put him in a long time out he noticed the moon in the sky. Which made me stop and remember that Alice loved to spot the moon in the morning sky when she was Elis age. So I put him down, snapped a picture and enjoyed it for a bit.

Then we went home and he took the long time out as planned.

Great shot. So hard to capture the moon.

Thanks everyone! It's funny, I cannot for the life of me take a picture of the moon at night. One turned out with three moons and another looked like a fetus from a medical textbook. Apparently I should stick to daytime moon shots!
