I trimmed our big spider plant today and these are the resulting baby
plants. There are (is?) about a gazillion x 10. I will have to plant all
of these because I can't stand seeing them just shrivel up and die. This is
going to take a lot of pots and pot money.

You know, you can put them in a glass of water for awhile until they sprout roots. I have several little ones in shot glasses throughout my house and once a bunch of them sprout roots, I plant them together so they actually look like a good size plant once they are in a pot. I love spider babies. :)
That is a fantastic idea! I do have some in water but you reminded me of our shot glass collection just collecting dust. When I was flying back and forth across the country (for 5 years before moving to CA) I would pick up shot glasses at all the different airports. What a great use for them! But.... there will still be a gazillion left over. You want some???
I would LOVE some. My spider plant quit growing babies for some reason. They say it grows babies when it's root bound (needing to be repotted).
I wonder how I could get some to you? Cause you are welcome to have a bunch!
