Today was the second grade Christmas party at school. I loved it - they did
a "Christmas morning" party. I brought my four year old and we arrived so
early, I got to work making pancakes (yes, I made those hideous pancakes on
that plate). There was TONS of food and presents under the tree and even
letters to the kids from Santa's elves ;) We had a lot of fun.

Sounds like a great time. 3rd grade had theirs too. I sent Kole in his jammies and robe. I would have loved to attend, but "you how who" was there playing mother of the year and I'd surely have PUKED if I had to look at that shit for more then a minute. :{
Wow thats a lot of sugar LOL I Guess thats what happens in school for holiday parties huh. Sounds like a great time though :) Can't wait to start doing these things with my kids!!
It's so funny, my daughter's teacher said to me, "WOW. We have the carb group covered for the day." (Which is exactly what I'd been thinking).
Fortunately, neither one of my kids ate even close to half of this stuff - they always get so carried away with food for these parties. It's so wasteful!
