I cannot take credit for this -- my hubby took it. (True Fact: he is a
budding photographer with all of the fancy lenses, etc.) This is one night
before the Blue Moon, which only happens once every 17 (or 19) years on New
Years Eve.
If we can get a good one tonight, you may see it tomorrow!!

What a FREAKING AWESOME shot!! I had to look at it in a larger view on Flickr. You can see every little crater on the moon!
Wow, STUNNING! I love the moon.
That is awesome!! what lens and camera do you use for that? I need to learn how to take shots like this! mind blowing we can even do that!!
SO perfect! I'd love to know what lens he has! WOW!!!!
He used a Canon Eos with a 100-400L Series lens, on a tripod.
Wow!!!!!!!!
Two Things.
This looks like a pic from one of my highschool textbooks, which I was supposed to read and pay attention to.
Second, I know the hubby. He is a crazy Brit, so just be glad this is the 'moon' he shared, I'm just saying.
Unbelievable shot!
