We went to see the Hoover Dam today. I wanted my husband to see it (I've
been there before) because I know he's seen shows about it on the Discovery
Channel and I know that sort of thing interests him.

We went to the Dam in the morning because we leave my dad's house to
go check into our hotel on the Vegas Strip in the afternoon. This is our
last bit of calm before the storm that is Las Vegas.

Anyway, I guess I didn't realize how close it was to the Arizona
border. When I saw the sign I just had to take a picture, because I am dork.
