Thanks Judy - me too. I particularly love antique reproductions of Early American Samplers. I just ordered a bunch of new patterns from early American (1700's-1870's) There are some vendors who specialize in these. I try to find ones from areas in which I have lived - Vermont, Maine (Oddly rare) and the Boston area. Maybe someday I will venture into the Quaker work!
Heather, the poor things usually lay, finished in my sewing baskets until I finally think "I should frame those" - I have 3 or 4 framed, at least 4 still sitting in the basket, including 2 shaker reproductions, the other 2 matches to Emily's Nursery ones ( Classic Pooh, alphabet, numbers and a map of 100 acre wood)
This last one is stumping me with the petit point directions ( for the words). I can not for the LIFE of me understand what the chart is trying to tell me to do and until I figure it out, the space remains blank.
Believe it or not, I find this to be very relaxing and meditative. I watch TV and stitch. Its been my reward for doing my dissertation writing!

Very pretty, Dawn! What will you do with it?
My favorite counted cross stitch project...samplers. Terrific work!
