This train held me up for 20 minutes today on my way to volunteer as a
BookMate. It was travelling about 5 mph, continued on for about 15 min.,
then stopped and backed up at 5 mph until it finally was clear of the
crossing.
There is a large refinery in this riverfront town and these cars all
contained petroleum. Residents here just hate this train and all the grief
it provides. Don't know if there is an alternate route....I was trapped
where I was waiting.
