Driving home today, looking at the trees & thinking hopefully about how
they'll soon be covered in riotous green life, again. Then, realizing that
they are absolutely beautiful now, too, when you can see their structure,
their strength, the arteries and veins that somehow work together to feed
and nurture that life. Trying to remember the saying, quote or cliche that
says it right - something like 'Don't waste so much time longing for
tomorrow that you miss out on today'.

while i love all the green in spring & summer, there really is something beautiful about a bare tree. especially against that grey sky.
