Saw this guy on my way downtown this evening...His sign said "Homeless and
Hungry"......He ran up to the car in front of me who gave him a Rice Crispy
treat. I scanned my car for a snack or something but didn't have
anything....I don't ever give homeless money because most of them will
likely buy alcohol with it.....but if I had some food, I'd have parted with
it.........
I realize there are a lot of things that have lead people to this point and
some may be the peoples own fault, or actually be their choice but my heart
goes out to the legitimate homeless people who really have no one.......It's
very very sad........

It is sad, and I go back and forth between giving money and not giving money. I ususally give. Even if someone buys booze with my money so be it. You never know how people got where they are.... Bridget
You are never demeaned by being generous. Since we cannot know a person's circumstances, we can not judge. Give, and know that you gave love and respect.
