Here's my new ipod. I bought it today because mine was stolen from car last
night.
The thing is, I've felt kind of weird all day about not thinking twice and
just buying another one. There was a time in my life - not that long ago -
where $145 would have been really hard to come by, and if something was
stolen or broken it stayed that way. Now I have the means to plunk down
cash when I need something.
And it doesn't feel right somehow. I wonder why? Anyone care to analyze?
Sigh. I almost can't stand the sight of it.

Maybe it represents the sacrifices you had to make when things weren't going well?
I'm going through a "scour the change jar for gas money" time and I remember the times of buying a new PC or anything I wanted without thinking about it. I keep thinking that maybe if I hadn't been so casual with cash, I might have some now.
"Tighter than a cod's arse at 40 fathoms." Enjoy.
Gretch....HAHAHAHAHA. No kidding Bridge, enjoy it. YOU have earned it.
You've earned being here!
I hear you.... Enjoy it. If you're anything like me, that iPod is essential to your well being and a happy state of mind. I need music to not be a raging bear to be around!!
