I love all the Grand Canyon, but I'm especially fond of the North Rim, the first place I saw the canyon, in 1987. I was by myself, on a cross-country trip to move to Phoenix. I had been alone for over a week and absolutely wept when I saw it for the first time. The most awe-inspiring place on earth!
