My Karate Kid. Every Sunday he has karate class. It's a class for kids
with special needs. He's been doing this now for 7 years.
Today he was testing for his brown belt.
His Sensei asked him which day he wanted to do his test and he chose my
birthday. I thought that was so sweet.
He got it! Best birthday present a mom could ask for.

Yayyyy, congrats Sam! I took karate classes for several years myself - it was always a thrill getting that new belt!
